15.  Harish Rawat appointed 8th Chief Minister of Uttrakhand. He took chair  after Vijay Bahuguna's resignation.

17.  Aruna Bahuguna first woman to be appointed chief of National Police  Academy,Hyderabad which trains IPS officers.
